How much smaller will my PDF get?
It depends on the file. PDFs with many photos or scans often shrink by 50 to 90 percent. PDFs that are mostly text are already small and may change only a little.
Which compression level should I choose?
Recommended keeps images sharp on screen and makes most files much smaller. Extreme gives the smallest file for email limits but images look softer. Light keeps print quality.
Is my PDF safe?
Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, compressed on our server and deleted immediately after your download is ready. We never look at, share or keep your documents.
Why did my file not get smaller?
Some PDFs are already well compressed. In that case you get your original file back, so you never end up with a larger file.
Can I compress a password-protected PDF?
No. Remove the password in your PDF reader first, then compress the file.
