What is URL encoding?

It replaces characters that are not allowed in URLs, such as spaces and accents, with % codes. A space becomes %20.

What does Keep URL structure do?

It encodes a full link but leaves characters like : / ? & = untouched, so the link still works.

Why do some URLs have + instead of spaces?

Web forms encode spaces as +. Keep Treat + as a space ticked when decoding form data.
