Questions

Can I edit the Word file?

Yes. The result is a normal DOCX file. You can change text, tables and images in Microsoft Word, Google Docs or LibreOffice.

Will the layout be perfect?

Most documents convert very closely, including tables and images. Complex designs with many layers, columns or unusual fonts may need small fixes after converting.

What about scanned PDFs?

A scanned PDF is a picture of a page, so the Word file will contain the page as an image. To get editable text from a scan, it first needs text recognition (OCR).

Is my PDF safe?

Your file is sent over an encrypted connection, converted on our server and deleted right after the Word file is ready. We never read, share or keep your documents.

Is there a page limit?

Files up to 25 MB work. Very long documents can take a minute or more. If a file times out, split it into parts with Split PDF first.
